And the rest kept failing to validate the cert, even though the CA was installed and everything worked in chrome. In fact one of them wouldn't even save it with https, it only wanted http or others would just change it to http. If not Calibre-Web will not get access to the database if Calibre is using it. Setup was easy enough using my own CA, but any OPDS app on android (like FBReader, Moon+, pocket reader etc I have tried almost 10 different ones) absolutely fails to connect to the server using https. force user a-username path /var/www/html/books writeable yes browseable yes guest ok yes guest account a-username create mask 0777 directory mask 0777 oplocks false level2 oplocks false Especially the oplocks on false are needed.
